El Patojismo is a pedagogical current that experiments and fuses conventional pedagogical practices with alternative, dynamic and innovative expressions. Since 2006 when the project was founded, experience has been acquired that has allowed the construction of the methodology (in constant change and adaptation) so that eventually, it consolidates as a system and can be a pedagogical current and social movement for the benefit of the Guatemalan childhood and youth.

The program provides immediate access to education, health, food and recreation, focuses on ensuring responsible social processes that provides our children with happiness and the opportunity to find their (own) space in history and society.

THE MISSION

The great mission of the program is to fully dignify the person, create environments of trust (full of art, joy, inclusion, freedom, security and green spaces), take care of life and develop critical thinking (from the person and their environment) are essential elements.

El Patojismo works from the dignity of the person. We believe that without dignity (love, freedom, rights, responsibilities and respect) no process of human formation can develop in its maximum expression.
